Fatcalf History
Vision: My name is Dan Bawinkel, otherwise known as the Fatcalf. In the year 2001, in an effort to help my own son's band I began a generator stage at Cornerstone Music Festival in Bushnell, Illinois. Since that time I have been constantly helping young people who would not normally get to play the larger stages, play a great smaller stage known as the Fatcalf Stage.

My interest peaked as I was managing my son's band, and I realized that there is more needed than just a desire to play music. With limited funds, how in the world does a small independent band make a dream become a reality?

Other challenges have challenged me over the years concerning band management and the business aspects of the music industry. With all this facing me I began to collect information from the professional music industry. As I learned more I realized there is a right and a wrong way of doing things. I have gained many friends, and now my passion is how can I help the independent band???

With all this said, I have developed this web-site along with the help of my good and trusted brother Josh Osborne from Pahrump, Nevada. The web-design is beautiful and I want it to, again encourage the independent band. I hope the site is a blessing to you and your band. Please leave your blog on the blog page and let me know your thoughts.

May the Good Lord bless your hard work and keep rockin' for Him.
